Get a Foot in the Cloud as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

What to Know About Course Completion

Assuming you are interested in our AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner course, there are some things you need to know about course completion. First and foremost, you’ll only be certified after passing the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification exam. This is a 90-minute exam consisting of sixty-five multiple-response questions.

Some other things to know:

  • Recertification – Your initial certification is valid for just three years. Recertification will be required after that. To be recertified, you will need to retake and pass the exam.
  • Career Opportunities – Course passage and certification will open the door to a variety of career opportunities. You can look for work as a cloud architect or administrator. You can apply for DevOps and solutions architect positions.
  • Career Benefits – If you are already involved in cloud computing, earning certification can help you transition into new roles within your current environment. Certification should help you better collaborate with technical teams and customers. It should increase your value to your company as an AWS professional.

Some roles demanding AWS certification have the potential for six-figure salaries along with a variety of attractive benefits. Your starting pay might not be that high, but it should be competitive, nonetheless.
