ProTrain is known across the country for providing accredited online education programs covering a variety of industries. One of the industries we address, and one that is not talked about a lot, is childcare. Our premier course in this category is the Day Care Administrator course that prepares candidates for the Council for Professional Recognition Child Development Associate (CDA) certification exam. While childcare has been a thriving industry in this country for decades, it is not something our culture tends to focus a lot of attention on in turns of education and training. Perhaps that's because of the natural human tendency to take care of our children. But it turns out the training is quite valuable in a professional setting. All Sorts of Training Classes Although ProTrain childcare training addresses daycare administration, there are tons of other training classes pertaining to various aspects of childcare. For example, we recently ran across a post on the Care.com website discussing more than a dozen online certification courses for childcare providers. Why receive professional training? There are several reasons: Provide Better Care – Accredited online education programs help workers provide better care in the real world. Like any other career, training teaches students things they might otherwise never learn. Once trained, they become better caregivers. More Opportunities – Completing an accredited education program opens the doors to more opportunities. Workers with certifications under their belts are more attractive as job candidates. Higher Earning Potential – In most industries, formal education equals a higher earning potential. Completing an accredited online education program demonstrates that a job candidate is willing to put in time and effort to be better. That equals higher pay. Meeting Industry Standards – Formal training aligns a person's understanding of their industry with the latest industry standards. That makes for a better employee all the way around. Note that some employers require formal training of some sort. Not all do, but why limit your opportunities to just those employers? Completing an accredited online education program gives you access to more employers – particularly those that require their workers to be trained and certified.
