Industrial maintenance technicians must be multiskilled (or multicrafted) in order to perform their required job duties. As a result, these individuals must possess knowledge in three key areas: mechanical, electrical, and welding. To facilitate learning in these areas, Industrial Maintenance is divided into five sections: General Knowledge, Mechanical Knowledge, Electrical Knowledge, Welding Knowledge, and Preventive Maintenance. Mastery of the required competencies in these areas is demonstrated by the completion of assignments in the accompanying workbook and by passing related tests created from the accompanying test bank.
This course covers all of the content found on the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP) Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) certification exam.
