Certified Business Analysis (CBAP/CCBA) is a training course for passing the certification exams conducted by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). These are 2 different exams: Certified Business Analysis Program (CBAP) and Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA). The detailed study guide helps you prepare for both CBAP and CCBA certification exams simultaneously. CBAP prepares you for larger and complex roles as a business analyst whereas CCBA is ideal for those with extensive Business Analysis experience. The course content focuses on strategy analysis, solution evaluation, requirements lifecycle management, business analysis planning and monitoring, and requirement analysis and design definition. Additionally, it helps in developing soft skills like communication, problem-solving, and collaboration, which are essential for successful business analysis.
Students will:
- Exploring the Business Analysis Core Concept Model (BACCM™) framework & understanding six knowledge areas
- Understanding of elicitation methods, creating requirement specifications, and conducting feasibility studies
- Ability to manage the entire lifecycle of requirements, requirement prioritization, traceability, and change management
- Evaluate potential solutions for defined requirements; assess the feasibility, viability, and suitability of different options
- Expertise in techniques used in business analysis, like data modeling, process modeling, and use case analysis
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and business intelligence tools
- Using flowcharts, data flow diagrams, and UML diagrams to create models to represent business processes
- Engage with stakeholders throughout the business analysis process; understanding their needs, expectations, and potential impacts
- Create various deliverables like requirement specifications, use case diagrams, and process models, that communicate the business analysis findings
- Improved writing skills to produce clear, concise, and well-structured documentation
