Students will:
- Learn to describe core data workloads such as transactional and analytical workloads, and their key differences
- Manage and work with relational databases using tools like Azure SQL Databases, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and Azure SQL Managed Instance
- Gain hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Table Storage for managing nonrelational data, including key-value, column-family, and document data models
- Understand the fundamentals of data analytics such as batch processing, stream processing, and real-time analytics
- Learn to work with modern data warehouse solutions and implement en-to-end analytics using Azure Synapse Analytics
- Develop skills in managing and storing data using Azure Blob Storage, Data Lakes, and other Azure Storage options
- Sharpen your SQL skills by learning query techniques for managing and retrieving data from relational databases on Azure
- Deploy and manage databases and resources using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
- Create HDInsight clusters and Azure Databricks for big data processing to manage Azure workloads.
